2009 NCAA Baseball Championship

The University of St. Thomas (Minn.) won the 2009 Division III Baseball Championship Series in exciting fashion, fighting back out of the losers bracket to force Wooster (who put them there in the first place) to play to win in two games on the final day. UST coach Dennis Denning retired in fashion in the fall with his second NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.

St. Thomas hopes to return to Appleton, Wis., ranked in the No. 1 slot most of the 2010 season in the D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 poll.
